The Broken one: The reason why I chose this image is because sadness is a hard emotion to be shown. You would have to show great detail and also contrast for this emotion in a piece.
I started out drawing the eye and lips then I cut her face into sections since you are lost when you are sad from time to time.

Down by the river:
My inspiration for my pieces Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh. His work shows a great example of impressionism with the short strokes in his piece.
I started out by sketching out my piece and which was going to be a landscape with a sunset but I decided to change my mind about it. I started to paint my background using big bold strokes blending everything in with it the mapping out the rest of my work.
Snake mountain: The reason why I chose to do this piece is to attempt to recreate this old 90's cartoon He-Man and the masters of the universe it didn't work out well but at least it's done.
The Great oak tree: I have chosen this piece to show the detail in trees and also to make a moss covered tree with oil pastels.
Jaws: The reason why I have chosen this piece is to try and show the details of the water and also I have not worked with watercolor paint before and I wanted to challenge my self.
The Tree of life: The reason why I had chosen to do this piece was to show the great details and techniques to use pen and ink when creating art.
